I was making that sound they use for scene changes when it fades to black.

That's an idea. I am still not decided on exactly how things will be run.

Yea, the doink-doink thing. I think it's supposed to be a strike of a Judge's gavel (well, x2), except sped up.

Oh, I never knew that. I thought it was just a sound they found on a huge cd of noises.

Finished implementing column sorting in item listings. Sorting is maintained across each page in an item listing. And the current page is maintained when changing the sorting.

And you'd have to be doing likewise to be familiar. :)

I've watched it some - enough to see those ads, but I prefer the original. Sam Waterson is the best in all the various series.

Added ability to show all items are varying levels of the market. So if you don't want to dip in and out of each category and subcategory to view items, you can list all items for the entire market or for an entire category (e.g. all Weapons, all Armor, etc).

Agreed. Sam Waterston rules. You know that Jerry Orbach left the show to be in a fourth version of L&O? Pretty soon everything will be reality TV, L&O, or CSI. I'm waiting for the day that NBC and CBS get together and make "Law & Order: Crime Scene Investigation."

Which thread does Jake think he's posting in? Isn't this the Law & Order thread? :p

Yea, that makes me sad. He's being replaced by Dennis Farina, we'll see how that goes...

The new L&O is called "Trial by Jury", so I don't know how much of a role Briscoe is even going to have.

Besides that though, they have pretty much the best cast so far as of right now. I like everyone, although the DA is only my second pick, Steven Hill/Schiff is still my favorite.

Added ability to preview new items and amendments before posting them. This is important because there is no editing once something is posted, only amending.

Cleaned up previewing code. It was a messy implementation before.

Been doing lots of tweaking, refining, etc.

I just implemented a restriction where users cannot have more than X number of open items. This will prevent spamming.

I am about ready to start implementing the bidding system. That shouldn't be very hard.

Email notification when you win an auction?

I hate receiving email from sites on which I register. I think it's spammy. But in this case I think it might be appropriate.

Make it optional, like subscribing in vB.
