Just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone. There is exactly 40 minutes left here until the ball drops. Hope the next year is better than the last!

To each his own. As long as you can do it responsibly, more power to you.

I hope everyone celebrated the New Year in a bunker. the flying bullets may be festive, but they are quite painful

I stayed up with family watching "I, Robot". It was a good movie, but it was a psychological letdown because they really didn't involve the psychology of intellingent robots enough. It kept me on edge for two hours, though, so I guess it was ok.

Watched Swordsman II (it was pretty sweet), played cards with some friends, ran around the block and banged pots and pans together.

    Happy New Year.

I'm having trouble picturing Will Smith in anything intellectually stimulating.

He was great in 6 Degrees of Separation (if you can stand a gay Will Smith).

I went out for New Year's, but I didn't drink much (the perils of having to drive the wife home and having to work at 12 hour shift today, of which I'm about half done with). It was fun. Haven't been able to go out for a long time and knowing the manager of the place it's nice to get everything comped

I just got home from work. The pharmacy was crazy tonight. I worked until almost 10 last night too, but it was real slow. :(

    HAPPY NEW YEARS TO ALL!!!!!

My neighbors always have a big party, and they even rig up a ball dropping of our own. The light ball is on a 30' pole and he rigs it to decend in sync with NYC's... when it reaches zero, a string light flares in a "2005" pattern.

Then they light off a bunch of fireworks... kids running amok, food galore, drinks (alc and non-alc), outdoor campfire, friends, etc... Then we all go to sleep late and wake up even later.

    Ah well...

Wow sounds like fun. To bad mine was kind of boring. Just went to a friends house, drank very little, played movie trivia. I used to be so wild........
