    Re: Re: Haite

I agree with the application of this to children but in a way that sort of makes John 3:16 sound like it doesn't matter and like accepting Jesus and his great gift to us isn't the only way for all. I'm assuming that you that you were just wording towards children though.

Well, John 3:16 isn't the best example (however well known it is), but if you read carefully it says "acting under the inspiration of grace, seek God sincerely and strive to fulfill his will, are saved even if they have not been baptized".

I suppose that's assuming that this acting under the inspiration of God is accepting Jesus' gift and acting upon it. Otherwise it wouldn't make much sense.

It means if the person has no knowledge of Jesus but is inspired by God to be a good person, then they can get into heaven.

i am reminded of the movie The One. in the end when Ulaw says, "I am Ulaw! I am nobody's *****! I don't need to know you. You... only need to know me!"

so we are all jesus's *****es even if we don't know him, or something.

i'm not making any sense at all. :(

Nope, not really ;). They still must be inspired to do God's will. Also, "being good" may not be God's will, he may call someone to great works or conversion. Who is to say? No one, which is why you must judge the sin, not the sinner.

But since english-speaking folks pronounce the J as Diay instead of Yaye, you all say Dyehovah instead of Yehovah. Therefore, you are wrong.

But on the other hand, you're not Hebrew either.
