"The graphics in the eMac are pushed by the aging GeForce 2MX DDR edition at 2xAGP."

I've got a G4 733 MHz QuickSilver. What are the stats on the GeForce 2MX that comes with that? I know that it's 32MB AGP but is this model SDR or DDR? Is it 2x or does it utilize the 4x on my bus? It's not a bad card but I'd rather have a GeForce4 Ti 4600 or a Radeon 8500 personally...

I just can't seem to locate the exact specifications for the card used in my machine.

Yes, the imacs look pretty...but their performance is crap.

I laugh at the people who think they can play games on them.

I'd get one of those new iMacs either for the sake of hosting a website off it (or any dedicated server: games, IRC, anything that needs hosting :D), or for the sake of having a Unix development environment. They're pretty sick for what they're good at.

...I'd get an 8500 or some other G3 with which to run a server. I'm not going to pay $1,000 extra for an LCD.

I'm talking about a big server, like something capable of hosting the vB forums by itself. Something large where you have hundreds of simultaneous database connections and need more CPU power for execution.

A 300mhz computer can easily run a large database and webserver.

I would think so. Especially when you read about people doing Linux servers on old 486 DX/2 66 machines, etc...

So is the GF2MX for QuickSilver computers a x2 or x4 card? I assume the Radeon AGP was x2 because it only displayed x2 on the box.
