    http://www.thottbot.com/beta?

Their beta site has many new craftables from BC listed. I was looking at them last night.

Enchanters get exclusive ring enchants (only usable on the enchanter's rings) for:

    +12 spell dmg
    +20 healing
    +2 melee dmg
    +4 all stats

Tailors make some nifty threads that you can sew into pants that act as a leg enchant. These are sellable to and usable by nontailors from what I can tell. Tailors also get nets to trap enemies (req tailoring to use).

Those are my two profs. I haven't looked at the others that closely.

I am gathering mats for the 300+ grind on my professions. I recommend you do the same for jewelcrafting if that is the prof you want. It will be a mad rush when the expansion comes out.

Profession power leveling requires cash, nothing else.

I doubt it will be cost effective to use like that.

Frankly, I can't see where it would ever be cost effective to use. Unless there is something coming out that will need it. Otherwise the only reason to ever use it would be if it is indeed cheap.

Well a portable mailbox is kinda like a portable bank. You send stuff to an alt and resend it back so that when you need something while raiding (i.e. potions, repair bots, etc.) it would help greatly if you don't have the bag-space since it contains your other sets. From what's been reported, all classes have a few sets as far as gear. Druid have 3 sets total (tanking, nuking, healing) and who knows how many the other classes have so that's gonna pretty much take up most of your bag-space. It would probably help if everyone in the raid do a send-to-alt/return thing so that the whole raid would benefit and wouldn't be such a waste of mats since they are expensive. Heck the guild bank might fund something like this just so that everyone has a portable bank to use during a raid but yea I don't see a 5 man group using this or if there are then it's a big waste.

Interesting.... 66 stam or 69 spell crit rating (~5% crit). If you can craft stuff like this, I wonder what epic drops will be like since drops are always better than crafted items.

At lvl 70 I believe 22 crit rating = 1%, so it's more ilke 3% total crit instead of 5% since these are lvl 70 sets.

I find the set bonuses to be the most interesting. The set bonus on the frost dmg set is very unique:

Your Frost and Shadow damage spells heal you for 2% of the damage they deal.

20 healing on a 1000 dmg frostbolt. It's basically a HOT for a class that has no healing abilities at all.

What I find interesting is that they seem to be moving away from 8-pc sets. Even the tier 4 and 5 raid sets are only 5 pieces, which allows you to be more versatile in the gear you pick.

For example, the Wrath of Spellfire could be combined with the Spellstrike Infusion.

Spellcloth is the new Mooncloth, 96 hour cooldown and all. Some of those pieces require 10 or more Spellcloth.

Now that I am 70 (finally), Spellfire + Spellstrike is my current gear goal. The general consensus is that combo is the best set in the game for fire mages, trumping even Tier 5 (according to no less than Death and Taxes). Of course when T6 comes out with Black Temple that may change, but T6 (or even T5) is a pie in the sky at the moment, whereas SF/SS just takes patience.

Anyway, I was adding up the raw mats for Spellfire since I am specializing in Spellcloth and can buy the patterns myself. (I'll worry about Spellstrike later.)

    The Wrath of Spellfire:

    Raw Materials:
468 Netherweave Cloth = 78 Bolts of Netherweave
260 Motes of Mana = 26 Primal Mana
640 Motes of Fire = 64 Primal Fire
    52 Arcane Dust
    10 Netherweb Spider Silk

    Combines:
78 Bolts of Netherweave + 52 Arcane Dust = 26 Bolts of Imbued Netherweave

26 Bolts of Imbued Netherweave + 26 Primal Mana + 26 Primal Fire = 26 Spellcloth (100 days minimum if I make them all myself.)

    4 Spellcloth + 10 Primal Fire + 2 Netherweb Spider Silk = Spellfire Belt
    8 Spellcloth + 12 Primal Fire + 4 Netherweb Spider Silk = Spellfire Gloves
    14 Spellcloth + 16 Primal Fire + 4 Netherweb Spider Silk = Spellfire Vest

Looks like I have some farming to do... :arcade:

I got the frozen shadoweave set + spellstrike. It owns.

I am glad blizzard has added comparable gear for nonraiders.

The healing bonus is hardly noticable given the huge life pools everyone has now, but it's something.
