    FLY2K HELP PLEASE

a friend of mine has an imac 400DV with 256 megs of ram and an ATI rage 128 graphics chipset, he has installed fly2k and when he starts it up, the game has a perfect landscape view, but the actual cockpit is all distorted and discoloured, and sometimes it would load into the top left hand corner of the imacs display, i told him to change his resolution prior to starting the game to 800x600, but when he trys to play the game at this resolution the mac BOMBS of type 10 error, it can't be the games cd as i have played the game on my new G4 867mhz with 640 ram and GEFORCE 3 and it works like a dream, does anyone have the same problem on an imac, or is there a known problem of this nature, or is there a patch for this available???? please help, thank you

Tell him to by X-Plane instead.
Or, look for any extensions that might cause problems. None come to mind, but they might be there.
