i deleted my cookies, same problem. i also noticed that the session info box on the portal is reporting wrong info.

i just found out the server i'm on was having mysql issues last night. other vB sites on my server are reporting the same problems, including the "posts out of order" problem that started today. there is a time problem on the server or sometihng.

the motherboard on my server has a botched time chip or something that is causing the motherboard to "skip" time. they have ordered a new motherboard. the problem should be fixed within a few days.

a tip: on both the portal and forumhome there is a "view new posts" link. click on that at the beginning of your session. leave it up in the background and open each thread link in a new window.
