    Just a few Qs:

    1) Will i be able to play DVDs under classic?

    2) Will i be able to burn CDs and DVDs under classic?

And some off-topic questions while you're helping out:

    3) Does OS X support AirPort?

    4) Will Outlook Express be carbonized on the 24th?

    5) Should i have the graphite or blue color? :)

    More to add:

    6) If, say, Outlook Express is carbonized. Can i use it running both OS X and Classic? Same applies to IE, and any other carbon app.

Carbonized = able to run in os x, os x's classic layer and in OS 9.1.

    #5 = AQUA, BITCH!

#1-2 = The classic layer in os x is an app within the os. If the os doesn't support something than obviously the apps running under it won't support it either (I think you can guess where I'm going).
No, at this time you cannot burn cdrws or watch DVDs. The burning ability should be out by next month and the DVD viewing will come in the summer.

#3 = not sure, but I think so.

#4 = use the mail program that comes with os x. It kicks butt.

I was reading on ZDnet and supposedly you can burn DVDs and CDs, and watch DVDs if you boot to classic, as opposed to running it while you're running OS X. Can anyone confirm this?

    Um...yes, that what I said.

You can do everything in os 9, just not in os x's classic layer.

You said that... in there? Ok, either you're wasted or i am.

I got my answer now, i'm happy. I think i'll be booting to 9.1 a LOT. All but the times all i'm doing is surfing the web. Only a few apps i use are carbonized, SoundBlaster doesn't work in OS X, and games would run much faster in 9.1 than classic, plus you get the SB support.
