I thought you guys would like to know that I just started on a bag of 90 Reese Peanut Butter Cups. Was only $9, contemplating buying another for awesome price. Who else has begun eating the halloween candy supposed to be given out to the children? I think it's a pretty widespread thing; buy four bags of candy, two for the kids, two for you.
I delcare this to be the official halloween thread, I am carving my pumpkin tonight so I'll put some pretty pictures in here. The rest of you can talk about other spooky things pertinent to All Hallow's Eve.
agreed, reese are the win. however, i usually wait until after halloween before i buy the candy, considering it's so much cheaper afterwards.
But then it's only the shitty orange and black candy that all the kids throw at the house along with the eggs.
We just watched A Nightmare Before Christmas. I'll have to add some pumpkin carving pics later. We got mostly Reeces for Halloween treats too - They are the best. Tomorrow morning I am going to go pick up our new kitten. Here she is:
Deffinitly Sat. in Madison. That is always an amazing bash back in me home town. They gave out $15,000 worth of free food (pizza and such) which was amazing and really helped with those drunk munchies. Yes, I admit I was one of the 100,000 drunk people that flood the State Street area, but how couldn't you..
I bought a bag of asst. hershey's snack size candies. 110 ct., classic hershey's bar, kit-kat, reese's pieces, reese's cups (single, full size), and Almond Joy. $5 at Costco (warehouse bulk store, membership required). I bought it for the kids that go to my church. Tonight, the kids went to houses in the area in groups to collect cans of food instead of candy. My pastor takes the cans to a homeless shelter. We have been doing this for 3 years. The kids don't get much candy, so we give them candy after we are done collecting the cans. I gave a lot of candy to the kids, but I still have more than half the bag left. woo hoo!!
I also bought one of those huge bacgs of assorted chocolates from Sam's Club (similar to your Costco as its bulk and you need a membership), but they are all for me *sinisterlaugh*
