What's happening in the theaters? Any of you guys seen anything good lately? My college is showing this Pochahontas movie on Friday but I heard it's bad.... Anyway, I'm curious about what's worth seeing.

I'm in a holding pattern until summer I think. Nothing that's out there right now really excites me.

This summer I'm looking forward to X-Men 3, Superman Returns, and The Da Vinci Code.

I thought Match Point was a very good movie. Very dissimilar to Superman and X3, but still very good in its own right. Other than that, nothing is really out there that I can see worth watching.

Yeah, but I can't look at Tom Cruise now without thinking about what a wack-job he is. I think it was his blasting Brooke Shields for taking anti-depressants and the jumping up and down on Oprah's couch that did it.

Yeah that one did look interesting. I'll probably see that when it comes out on DVD.

Looking forward to those, definitely wont watch MI:3. Tom Cruise can only play one character.

But Tom Cruise is also short. Is Spiderman 3 coming out? And have any of you see Brokeback Mountain?

I have nothing against gays, but I have no desire to see a movie about two gay cowboys. I don't do love movies at all actually.

I saw it. It was a great movie. Don't feel intimidated by the troglodytes :shake:

PS to Jake, you must find it very hard to find movies to watch, considering 99% of movies out there have a love story in them.

It's not that he doesnt like all love stories. As long as they have boobies he loves it.

Most love stories have boobies though. So it makes me wonder. :scratchc:

Brokeback Mountain is another I'll probably see on DVD. I tend to save my movie-going dollars for films that will benefit by being on the big screen, the LotRs, X-Mens and Supermans of the world. Brokeback seems like it would be pretty much the same on my DVD player as it would in the theater.

Of course, boobies on the big screen is always nice.
