    haven't seen that one yet...

Last movie was "Hero". Was disappointed with that one. Not what I was expecting.

Still need to see Hero and Collateral. I've heard good reviews for both of them.

I liked Napoleon Dynamite, but the gags kinda grow old toward the end of the movie and I left sorta feeling like an ass because I sat there for an hour and a half laughing at this kid.

Hero was pretty good, but Collateral was better.

I'm planning on seeing Collateral but not Hero since I hate the over the top kung fu where they spin off a wall and do an impossible jump from twenty feet away. At least make it somewhat believable.

Hero is the most beautiful movie ever made... if you don´t like the fights then watch it for the beauty.

I thought Napoleon Dynamite was a waste of time. Resident Evil 2 was pretty good though. Maybe b/c Jeanna looks like Milla Jovovich. ;)

Not to ruin a movie you're never going to see Cow, but those impossible Wire Fu sequences in Hero are shown to be a false reality (myth creation, natioanlist epic creation, if you will). It's a bit heavier of a movie than you're thinking it is.

Beauty is defined in terms of everything being drawn out then, apparently

    I thought hero really sucked.

Edit - but it was hilarious when it was showing the emperor fighting broken sword and he ran around making car noises

    HEATHENS!

Seriously... Look at the fight between the two women, yellow leaves, red clothes and black hair... It´s beautiful.
Just one example out of many. I think it is really beautiful.

oh ok so other movies can have deep metaphors with things other than colors but when they shove it in your face it's beautiful and the best movie ever

That scene was a joke, it's like they took a dump trunk of tired, over used, crappy cliches and emptied it onto my gaping eye sockets. It was worse than some of the crappy, arrogant writing I've had to read by supposed artistes that think they're hot shit.

Apparently everyone must think this director is a genius, just like that Quentin Tarantino retard. People are taken for a ride with unimpressive, mediocre quality works and are somehow convinced that it's haute culture.
