Church website

    I was "volunteered" to make a website for my church. I will probably need a host that is cheap, but doesn't require banner ads. I don't think it would work too well to have a popup with an ad for a dating site or female body hair remover ;) I haven't researched it yet, but there might even be some hosts that have deals for churches.

    anyway, I thought I would ask you guys and see if you knew of any hosts like that.

    Ad-free, free hosting no longer exists on the net.

    cool, both of those hosts look good, I'll have to see how much space and bandwidth I need for the site to see which one I'll go with.

    I have a computer that I have on all the time; you know, the one that the server is on. I don't know how to get the webserver stuff going, so it might be more than I want to do. I'd rather blame any downtime on someone else, anyway ;)

    thanks, I guess that means I have to start working on it now. *sigh*

    Like a church website will get heavy traffic.
