So if you want to play a game without the finder in the background you can quit it for the duration of the game. Or you can restart the finder to fix memory leaks. Best thing is that when you either quit or restart the finder it doesn't affect any of the running programs. I've been having problems with IE making 100+mb memory leaks. Really pissing me off.
