    Any thoughts?
How well with this work? There would have to be dual function software for it to work right? I am thinking about selling some more crack to buy one of the new 800 mghz g4 with this option installed. But really, I need info on how well this drive will work b4 I bust my ass at work to get some extra cash.

(about the crack refernce :jk: )

i have burned a couple of DVDs using iMovie and iDVD on customer's G4s... it works great.

the CDR(W) function is built into the Finder is OS 9.2 i believe. but you really should get Toast... it gives you a lot more functionality.

I remember when I burned my first CD back in the 90s. I dunno when, it was right when burners were first becoming available. The CD ended up being labeled 'Blank CD', after the harddrive I was burning from. I still have that CD around here somewhere. Its got Damage Incorporated and stuff on it.

We have one of these at our school, and my coeditor goes into the Yearbook room every weekend to backup his anime CDs onto a DVD. He took off the "Superdrive" sticker so that no one would find out it was a DVD drive.

I'd love to use it also, but I'm too cheap to buy DVD-Rs. :(
