When I eject it, it only comes out about a cm, not enough to grab it, and then it stops.
Do imacs have the little holes for the paperclip to force eject the drive?
that wont help...this happend to me as well. What you need to do is a lil un-orthodox buy it worked for me. I took a crappy cd, or va un-burned cd(incase you scratch it) and eject the cd in your drive, and while the motor is running, trying to eject it, stick the crappy cd underneath the non-ejecting one and push down on the crAppy cd(as to push the non-ejecting cd up and through the slot). This lil trick worked for me...good luck.
what kind of iMac? slot loading or tray?
slot loading...and I finally got it out by pinching it just right. Guess I'll never put any CD I care about in again...luckily, for BW, WC3, Myst 3, Quake 3, and B&W I have the disc image copied on. But no D2 for me
heh all my blizz games(except war3) i burn copys for my self...so the origonals will never get fubar!
They will start to oxidize in about 12 years or so. Then again, your comp probably won't run them in 12 years.
You can always copy them before that happens though and copy and copy and copy....
That and Blizzard uses copy protection.
copy protection? hm, toast 5.1.3 didn't notice on WC3
the thing with copy-protect is that something HAS to be able so read the information on the disk. If your burning app supports bit-fir-bit copying then copy-protect shouldnt work.
