aw...so cute

    i just found a kitten outside and i think its dehydrated...and its terrified of me, anyways whats the best way to get it to drink some thing?

    Try putting a plate or shallow bowl with some water in it near him/her, then walk away and watch it to see what it does and to make sure it drinks the water.

    really? not drinking is a sign of rabies? its eaten some stuff....

    Yeah, hydrophobia is a sign of rabies, I think.

    well it's obviously not in a late stage of rabies....but how early is the hydrophobia, anyone know?

    Um, you're taking that advice a little too literally. It's not a sure thing, take it to the vet.

    If you have any other animals, best keep it away from them and take it to the vet for a check up. It'll be scared to begin with but once it sees you are are a source of food it'll come round.

    our vet reacted to us calling for a checkup on that kitten, as if we had said "i found a bug that looks weird"....and the kitten has changed its demeanor..i think its fine, but it still isn't drinking that much...eating enough, though

    If you've already touched it or come close to it, and it turns out it has rabies, you aren't going to like the shots. My sister's dog was found with a rabid bat in its mouth. They had to put down the dog and my sister and niece had to get multiple shots in the stomach.

    Just help it. If it is a kitten, chances a good that it doesn't have rabies.

    skin it and sell its fluffy hide! MUWAHAHA or just dry it off feed it and give it some water how u ask? well thats ez but it in a box and give it some food! it wont starve it self andit will be all fille dup!

    Have you taken it to the vet,is it ok,are you keeping it they are really loving pets. I should know I have five.

    yeah, its fine..and we've found a home for it. after a short search online, i discovered its a Maine Coon cat..
