    [sarcasm]

Why? Quark's an easy to use, completely intuitive and bug-free product. :wtf: Hehe. :retard:

Bloatware page layout program. Used to have competition from Aldus Pagemaker before Adobe embraced and extended.

and now runs a distant second the Adobe InDesign (also a monster when it comes to system resources).
Problem is, the whole f#@%^&g design industry resists change like nothing you have ever seen.

    sigh.

I should never have started to work in InDesign. I would be blissfully unaware of how much better it actually is.

if your employers aren't going to switch, do not even bother trying it.
You will be so damn frustrated with Quark after trying ID that you won't even be able to speak (if you are anything like me).

Did you see the CA review of ID a couple months ago?
If you missed it in CA, Adobe has the review on their website. I second just about everything the author has to say about it. Good stuff, but very memory hungry.

Cool...but memory is at an all-time cheapness to make it reailt available. At work, we have lots of people with over a Gig of RAM. My Tech manager get 512 Meg RAM chip for about $78 or so...

Crucial is selling Ram for only a little bit more than that. Think their's is closer to $85 for 512MB
