    Taken from my website, as posted to our members, thought I'd offer any interested parties here the same chance, just reply in this thread.

    Looks pretty, but I still haven't seen a 3D strategy game that played as fast and as smooth as a 2D strategy game.

    I guess a question I would ask is how fast are they pacing the gameplay relative to 2D and 3D strategy games like Starcraft and Warcraft 3?

    I loved Starcraft and hated Warcraft 3...

    2D sprite based forever.

    TA and Starcraft never forget.

    TA = Total Annihilation?
    That one was not sprite based... 3d units.

    It wasn't 3D, it was pseudo-3D.

    They used polygon based units which are still sort of sprites.

    Yeah... the backgrounds where not 3d...

    But I wouldn´t say polygonal units are sort of sprites...

    TA was 3d units on a 2d height-mapped field. Hence, you could get terrain interference with projectiles... I love that game so damn much... wish i still had my discs.

    I got it for Christmas but I hardly played it because the campaigns weren't very good and I didn't know anyone to play multiplayer with.
