I'm curious where all of you existing members stand on this game. I am anticipating having only 1 or 2 of you who go on to play WoW with this clan... switching games isn't easy for a clan, and this clan is pretty dead right now.

I'm just curious. I'm not going to kick you out for not wanting to play WoW. Play, don't play, whatever.

We'll see, I'm only going to play it if I enjoy it. Considering mmorpgs are expensive.

The clan is "alive" enough to keep the boards interesting when we aren't playing any games at all. WoW coming out, and giving us a clan game again, can only increase activity.

Well, as FFXI has shown me I can become quite attached to a MMORPG if it catches my fancy. I will try WoW and if I works for me then I'll be in for a while lol.

Well, I need to do many things before considering playing the game...

    1) Move to a cheaper space...
    2) Get a better paying job...
    3) so that I can either seriously upgrade my really old ass computer, or buy a new one...
    4) then I'll see if it's worth a monthly service.

That's it, doesn't seem to hard, huh?

Well 5 Yes votes is more than I expected. Hopefully WoW is a good game and we are able to have a smooth transition.

Why transition when you can start a new clan? Re-open the site and re-name the clan and make it look like you've just started; it might help newcomers.

...unless Auto plans on naming his upcoming night elf rogue mac_SexyEars. :p

I'm not going to start fresh. The forum history must persist.

New site, new features, new WoW forums, same name, same history.

edit: although... you do have a good point about the new comers. I will have to think about this.

I'm not saying to trash history, but make it look like the clan is brand new in every other respect. I'm not really sure how you would go about all the details, but you get the gist of my idea.

I'm not going to BS you I awoke from the dead because it seems that finally we have a decent MMORPG for the MAC. While I love my PC and OCing it I love my MAC more and would rather play an MMORPG on it.

So I will be playing WoW the real question is will WoW be good enough to keep me playing, so far the out look is good.

Nope, I can only stand Hell for so long :P.

I drifted for a while after SB I went to SWG then in order DAoC, EQ, L2, CoH and back to SWG (jedi.) All of them sucked though CoH has many kickass features in the same breath L2 was great during the Korean, Taiwan and Japan versions but the US community killed the game.

I played DAoC for a while. It was too slow paced... you have to spawn camp forever before you can play the real game (RvR).

    WoW

I'm looking forward to playing it. Having been in a top line raiding guild in Everquest, it'll be nice to be able to relax and just enjoy the game.

Now all we need are Oni, Olon, Gilg, and Kalg to round out the old skoolers.
