Anyone have insider information?
Since they just came out with the new G4 lineup, they'll probably do the usual, new iMac lineup, cube tweaks, and shifting over from Powerbooks to Titanium powerbooks. The old Powerbook series will probably be gone by the end of '01. I don't have too much more foresight, other then you might want to go check out the exTreme Mac 1.2 GHz. If you haven't heard of it already, it's basically a G4 that is cooled below zero then overclocked bigtime. Don't have their URL at the moment (it's a third party manufacturer) but I think it's gonna be a bad sham, they try to rip people off by selling jumper kits for $50. A few months ago I would have said Apple was booming but now they're prospects look rather average, not too much growth in my opinion and lineup will probably stay the same for a while with all the new products.
All Apple needs is to up their processor manufacturing speeds.
yeah, motorolla needs to work on their production process, a 54% yield just isnt cutting it.
54% ??!!!!? Holy crap. Intel freaks when we get less than ... can't say it, but it is much greater than 54%. Wow that is BAD!
yeah, thats why we dont have DP 733s yet... motorolla cant make enough frickin chips
Elbereth, blackmail intel into producing PPC processors.
