    Apple page on Free Jaguar Copies for USA K-12 Teachers -
    This may be old news, but a reader posted a note that Apple has a OS X for Teachers page that notes:

    "For 25 years Apple has been committed to education and educators. Continuing our commitment, Apple is giving a free copy of Mac OS X v10.2 Jaguar to every K-12 teacher in the United States."

    maybe apple is losing the education market so they are doing this to boost it

    I'm just saying if Microsoft did this, we wouldn't let them hear the end of it.

    Of course they are in a "monopoly" position while Apple is an minority trying to survive so I guess it would be somewhat valid to question Microsoft's motives.

    got my OS 10.2 yesterday. would have had it sooner, but my mom forgot she had it :bonk:
