Uh huh. And i hold the patent for screws, so i'm suing Apple too!

Heh. These guys are stupid. Some guy at MacCentral did research and found out Apple had multiprocessing years before they got their patent approved.

It's like those stupid patents for 1-click shopping or the patent on hyperlinking. They will get shutdown hard hopefully. They are acting like Rambus almost, since they probably hope to sue every other multiprocessor manufacturer/user on the planet in a hope to make some quick cash.

The CEO probably watched "You've got mail" and said "Yeah, that's what I'm talking about!! I got to get me some AOL action!! They must be great if Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan use it!!"

    Sigh.

Unfortunately this is what our lawsuit-happy culture has turned into. It's too bad, most lawyers are really interested in helping people despite the stereotype, but there are some who are motivated simply by greed and have manipulated the system into what it is today.

Biaxcorp very likely knows they have no real case, but they sue for 1.1 B, hoping for half that in a settlement. They apparently have no concept of whom they are dealing with. Steve will smack them down like the little bitches they are.
