Aldor vs. Scryer

    A good page on the wowwiki site comparing the rewards for the two factions in Shattrath City, Aldor or Scryer:

    I'm not sure exactly how gaining rep with either faction works, but the impression I get is that they are mutually exclusive; you have to pick one.

    T4 and T5 sets can be obtained from either faction, but require raid boss drops.

    It seems you are right. There is a NPC in Shattrath that has two quests where you can ally with either faction. Both quests say that the opposite faction will not forgive your choice.

    I'm going to go Aldor on my Blood Elf mage, due to the fact that they have better spell damage enchants and a much better mage staff

    It's aldor for me too...just switched last night.
