About 10 years ago, I was up late (2 or 3 in the morning) and I was watching TV. There was this cartoon movie on. It was made for adults, but it wasn't anime (I don't think it was).

All I remember was this big buzzard/vulture thing in a circus cage. There was this girl that was a unicorn, but her herd ran into the sea and started to drown. Someone changed them into people, and they were indististinguishable from regular humans.

The girl and this guy, the main character were sneaking around somewhere, they went through a door with a skeleton on top and it it started yelling "UUUNIIIICOOOOORRRRRRNNNNNN!"

About that time, my mom woke up and told me to go to bed (hey, I was 10). Does anyone know anything about it? I might have got some parts wrong, but I was wondering about it.

I remember this one movie where all the unicorns were killed by a big giant evil magical bull. Or something like that. I remember there was a circus type thing, and they had a unicorn in it. Maybe. I dunno. There was people trying to rescue it. I think. I think I remember a big vulture or something too. Could it be the same movie were talking about?

Yeah, I think I remember a bull. Cool, we're halfway there, we've established that this movie exists. Now all we need is the name.

BTW, Is Krull the one with the guy who plays Hercules and the captain on Andromeda? It looked dumb.

The movie with the red bull and the unicorns is called The Last Unicorn, made in 1982. We have it, and it is a kid's movie (Rated G); just a little intense at times. It is too much for my little girl, but the older two (7 and 9) like it, even though my 7 year old has to hide his head in parts. I really can't believe that it is rated G. There are even some swear words in it (damn - a lot).

Maybe I'll read it, then. I am currently reading the Foundation Trilogy (Isaac Asimov), and I am re-reading Dune (Frank Herbert) to prep me for reading Dune Messsiah, Children of Dune, and God Emperor of Dune. Then I will re-read The Terminal Man (Michael Crichton). Within two months, I will be in need of another book to read, maybe I'll check it out.

Dude, it goes on for more then God Emperor. I'm part way through Heretics of, then lastly there's Chapter House. I'm also reading The Right Stuff, and the Foundation Trilogy myself at the minute.
