    I got it installed, for some reason it worked on one of my cubes.

    My problem was I didn't have D2 installed at all, as I don't use classic.

    i would classify that blunder in the category of
    - is the computer plugged in
    -is the computer turned on
    - are you using the mouse and keyboard to manipulate the screen?

    "D2 play disk no worky, cant install D2X"

    Just out of curiousity...

    Is it correct terminology to use the word "disk" when refering to Compact Discs? I always thought that disk was for HDD & FDD, etc... but Disc was for CD/DVD, etc... After all, they officially label them discs and discs are circular objects.

    Sorry for the off topic question but I've always wondered about this. Disc sounds more correct to me personally. No big deal though, like I said, I'm just curious about this.

    cd = disc
    floppy = disk, but there's a disc inside the disk
    hard drive = disk but there are discs inside the disk
    zip disk = disk, but there's a disc inside the disk

    Thats what I was doing, trying to install D2. Then I was gonna install D2X, and then the carbon patch.
