    Twat is used the same way as "twit" in England, kind of an alterior meaning (aside from the "feminine aspect", that's universal ;)). Anyway I lived there for three years and some of it rubbed off on me.

    Heh, I had to clue in a friend visiting from england who said "twat" all the time that it has a slightly different connotation in the states. He was such a jovial and polite chap too, couldn't bear having him go out being chummy and offending someone. ;)
